JOB INTERVIEW 3

During the first decade of this century, I attended an interview in a pharmaceutical company for Fun. At the preliminary interview by the consultant, I was asked to tell stories about different aspects of my life from Primary School to my current job. During this stage of the interview I was not asked any question relating to my training or specific experience. However, at the final interview where the Managing Director was on seat, work related experience questions were asked. I was offered the job but I turned down the offered because of the turn-over rate of HR Managers in the company. When I asked about the HRM turnover rate, I was informed that it was the failure of the former consultant. When I asked the new consultant what his novel interview method called, he said, it was Behavioral Interview which I confirmed five years later when I became a Certified Behavioral Interviewer.

JOB INTERVIEW 2

Job interview can also be affected by the following:- - Some employers treat job interview as war. - Some other employers treat job interview as inquisition. - Interference by non-professionals makes for the engagement of wrong candidates. - Written examination for experienced hires shows the incompetence of the Recruiter. - The two best job interview methods are Group Selection Interview and Behavioral Interview. - Job interviews that concentrate on knowledge are a failure. - Two most important considerations during interviews should be experience and attitude. - During my active work time, I had two major failures conducting interviews by bowing to higher grade managers. - HR Managers must act as internal consultants to User departments at job interviews. - During the remaining two weeks of July, 2021, I shall share my practical experiences at job interviews.
