DECISION MAKING: A STRATEGY FOR DEVELOPMENT 3

Decision-making is part of planning. When you fail to make decisions,  what you have done is failing to plan,  which translates to planning to fail.

As I conclude, I hereby share with you some very hard decisions I have made that may affect some of you harshly.

- On 31st September 2023, I decided for the peace of my mind to exit both Twitter and LinkedIn.

- On 1st October 2023, I blacklisted TVC just as I did for the FGN Rags called FRCN and NTA.

- I decided that people I could reach through a group,  I shall no longer share Content with individually.

- I have decided to weed off all Pretenders with whom we have deceived ourselves to be friends.

- I have also decided that all none religious organisations I belong shall no longer get financial contributions from me due to no accountability.

- I have equally decided that henceforth to please only God and myself.

- Also,  I have decided to lower my expectations of people I am in relationships with.

- I have decided to attend nobody's parent's burial ceremonies.

- I shall never give anybody a soft loan.

- I have fully activated my long-forgotten decision that there are Human-Human beings and Animal-Human beings.

- Finally,  I have decided not to get into any arguments with people who are my juniors by any definition.

HR MISTAKES BY YOURS TRULY 8

I have a first degree in Sociology and Anthropology from the best university then in that discipline in Nigeria, the University of Benin, Benin City. During my undergraduate days, I decided not to earn naira on graduation, so when my course mates were rushing to major in Organizational Behaviour, I opted for Medical Sociology. I equally decided to go on to obtain a Masters Degree in Epidemiology so as to ensure that I work with either WHO or UNICEF where I would be paid in dollars. However, my university of choice was then being shut every other three months. This was against another decision of yours truly that I shall not spend more than 12 months for the masters program. At this point, I changed my mind to study Industrial Relations and Personnel Management at the best University then in that discipline in Nigeria, the University of Lagos, Akoka, Lagos. This major shift brought yours truly into a profession that it's major tenants contradict my major attitudes to life. Some of ...

EMPLOYEE STEALING 7

I worked in this particular company that pays terribly disproportionate Junior staff to Managerial salaries. My monthly salary was almost twice the salary of the five junior staff that worked with me. The above great disparity notwithstanding, one of the Clerk's secondary home was a beer parlour where he spent freely. A second junior staff on supervisory grade change his car twice in three years, while I the manager could not afford a single tyre of a car. These two staff, while one was in charge of purchasing, the second was in charge of processing the sales of scraps in the company.

HR MISTAKES BY YOURS TRULY 6

My refusal to accept two direct instructions from two gentlemen who were instrumental to my employment in two companies where I enjoyed working, cost yours truly those jobs because I considered those instructions as unreasonable. Firstly, I was asked to provide information that would lead to the termination of the employment of five high performing managers. My response was to send my boss a local ICBM to the effect that "a man who circumcises woman do not talk". If the man talks, he will die of hunger. Secondly, I was asked to tell half truths by my boss, which I considered to be telling lies and I refused. My boss explained further to yours truly, that what he was saying was for yours truly to play politics because politics is about half truths. He stated further that should yours truly continue to insist on the truth only, he would join others in fighting yours truly. My response to him was "you're welcome. Within five weeks of this discussion, your truly was tra...
