70TH BIRTHDAY: SEE FINISH 2

 As I reported last week at my 70th birthday celebration, my guests insulted the living day light out of me, stating that I am stubborn, very Stubborn extremely stubborn, controversial and finally completed.

While I agreed with all they said, I promised to share with you this week the character content of a Stubborn man.

First of all, I like to share with you one positive that came out of that celebration.

One of cousins came with her kids and after spending two weekends in Lagos, when her 6 years old daughter was told that they were going back to Port Harcourt on the 7th of September, she said, "I am not going back to Nigeria".

Now the character content of a Stubborn man:-

- He is intelligent.

- He has Integrity.

-  He has the capacity to say his mind.

-  He stands for the truth always.

,- He does not take a fall for someone's mistakes.

- He does not concern himself with the number of people holdingyopposing views.

You may wish to add your own.

Finally, I wish to thank most seriously all those who made it to Victorious Estate, those who could not make to the celebration but sent their love Tinubunomics withstanding. And most importantly the one who made the day possible, Jehovah Overdo.

By the special grace of God, we shall retaliate.

THE LAW OF REST 1

There are two Economics laws that best  explain, the law of Rest. These laws are: The law of Diminishing Returns and The Law of Marginal Utility. The Law of Rest states that when you work and rest and work again, you produce more than when you work continuously without rest. The application of this Law of Rest has been manifest in the practice of Bush Fallowing and/ or Shifting Cultivation in Agriculture. Applied to fair labour practice, it results in the principle of annual vacation for employees. Employees are meant to stop work and rest for 30 minutes after 4 hours of work. This accounts for why employees who work 8 hours a day,, are given 1 hour break in between the 8 hours. Applied to yearly work, every employee is entitled to a number of weeks vacation every year without negotiation.
