NATIONAL MINIMUM WAGE NEGOTIATIONS

 The Content I proposed to share today has been overtaken by events.

I shall only ask some questions:-

Firstly, Has the Trades Union Act that created multiple Law Centers been amended again?

Secondly, Which union leader was used to break NLC into two during the PDP rule.

Thirdly, From N610,000 - 100,000 and cost implications of minimum wage on the FGN, are both parties serious?

Fourthly, Are Board appointments in the offing?

We reserve all comments untill the agreement is signed and enacted into law.

    Cost implications: Were they considered before all the barriers against inflation were removed?

Last week, we identified some of the National Economic Challenges and the contributions of both Management and Trade Union to unfair labour Practices.
