I once attended an interview for the post of Human Resources/ Personnel Manager.
When the opportunity came, I asked the panel whether the position for which I was being interviewed as advertised was a printer's devil, to which I was told NO
My attempt to reason with the panel that Human Resources/ Administration Manager was more like it, was flatly rejected. When I further asked for the difference between Human Resources Manager and Personnel Manager, the panel had no answer.
Professionals, would you say the company was right and if so, what would be the content difference of this job?
In North America, Administration Manager job is for accountant/office Manager/General Services. The company is righty in their title
