Last week I shared with you, our Consideration Experience with four Public Limited Companies. One thing that stood out was the availability of the option of salary negotiation, it was clear from the point of joining salary that they paid higher than those without that option. Let me start today by sharing my point of joining salary with Private Limited Companies, usually called One- Man Business. 1. N651,000 p.a. 2. N2,353,000 p a. 3. N1,015,000 p.a. 4. N5,200,000 p.a. The conclusion that could be drawn from the analysis of last week is that Nos. 1&3 operated the "Take it or leave it" salary policy, while Nos. 2 &4 gave ample room for salary negotiation. In order not to distort salary figures at the time of entry, I have left out the cost of the official vehicles and the attendant running costs.
